Planet Venus and Le Wagon join forces to offer you a free coding taster for women in Barcelona! This event is for self-identifying women to try coding and networking in a no-pressure environment. Are you a complete beginner when it comes to code? Want to try it out or understand the tech world a bit better?
Now’s your chance to finally understand how two of the most important frontend languages, HTML and CSS, actually work!Build your own landing page with HTML and CSS and get to know like-minded women in Barcelona – we can’t wait for you to join us!

What you’ll learn:
- What a basic HTML template is and how to generate one
- How to link the CSS to the HTML and add design to your page
- How to use popular libraries like Google Fonts and Font Awesome, saving time when designing
- How to publish your landing page online using Github Pages
You’ll then head home with your very own landing page that you’ve coded yourself! Your coding teacher, Irina, will be guiding you through new concepts in just hours, instead of days or weeks. It’s the perfect taster to try a new experience in tech, or to just have some fun. Our only requirement from you is that you are eager to learn.

Above all, it’s a practical, pressure-free session and we are here to learn together, make mistakes, exchange and collaborate! This event will be held in English, but all are welcome. We can’t wait to meet you!
